Take control of your nursing career

I’m here to help you bloom as a nurse

After years working as a nurse, I have experience in all areas of nursing

  • I’ve worked in Orthopedics, GU, Medical Surgery, Pediatrics, ICU, Step-Down Unit, and Long-Term Care as a nurse.

  • Later in my career, I transitioned into management.

Then, I became a nurse educator

  • I taught fundamentals and medical surgery in local colleges.

  • In addition, I taught at my own company, One on One NCLEX Tutoring, for 9 years.

  • Last year, my students had a 95% pass rate.

  • I have mentored both the same students, as well as new nurses. During this time, certain issues came up, such as bullied by older nurses, etc.

What our clients are saying

Ennet 7/20/23

After failing my NCLEX exam on my first attempt, a friend introduced me to One on One NCLEX Tutoring. I had the opportunity to have a free consultation with Rhoda who I decided to work with after that consultation. Rhoda would give me a lot of assignments that included reading and practice questions. I was not able to do all of the one-week assignments because I had other NCLEX resources that I was using. I went to take my exam for the 2nd time, and I failed again. I reached out to Rhoda with a smwe were in this together and encouraged me to try again. This time I stopped using all the other resources I was using and did what Rhoda asked me to do using the Saunders book. Rhoda encouraged me to do all the assignments before we met for the next session and would also encourage me to text her anytime I had a question. Because Rhoda saw how hard I was working and my determination to pass this exam, I was awarded a One On One NCLEX Tutoring Certificate and I was awarded two sessions one half price and the second one free. I passed my NCLEX exam on 3rd attempt because of One on One Tutoring.  If you are thinking of having a tutor, please don’t waste time, reach out to One on One NCLEX Tutoring, you will be successful on your NCLEX Exam.

When I first started working with Rhoda I was skeptical that anyone could help me pass the NCLEX. I was pretty depressed and anxious. Before we began, she took the time to listen about my experience with the NCLEX. She asked questions that I didn't expect such as:

"How did you feel during the exam?"

"What was your pace?"

"What did you do the day of and before the exam?"

These questions all made me feel like she was really trying to get to the root of why I wasn't successful so we could work on it together. She then explained her experience with the NCLEX and why she went into helping others be successful. This help establish a report that I never would've gotten with UWORLD, Nursing.com, or Kaplan. Shen then went on to explain how the NCLEX works and made me take a quiz to see what my learning style is to lay the ground work of how to study. I was not the best student because I let my inner saboteur get the best of me. However she never gave up on me no matter how many times I said I couldn't do it. She was also honest with me in terms of my test date. If she thought I wasn't ready she would tell me. That probably saved me money on extra testing (even though I had to pay her to keep going, lol). In the end it was all worth it. Her assignments are rough in terms of reading and doing questions but she doesn't tiptoe around what needs to get done in order to pass. If something isn't working then she works with you to see what does. She made herself accessible. I knew if I texted her I would get a response. Probably the most helpful thing was doing questions during our sessions and talking things outload in real-time to figure out how to get the answer. That was probably the most invaluable time I got out of my work with Rhoda. I'll always be grateful for Rhoda and hope other students are as well.
